My first artwork (digital painting) of Zachary Quinto as himself. I didn't think I would eventually do anything with him other than something Star Trek related but here it is. I will admit that I don't find him extremely good-looking or gorgeous the way I think Chris Pine is but I believe there's something very intense about him and l definitely like that. :)

I went back to Black and White for this one and I think it really suits the image. This will be my second entry in the Actors Contest being held by ~Ameryn.

That's pretty good overall, you definitely got some very nice values here, I love that. They seem to be quite spot on overall and give this painting a very tangible and bold feeling. There are just a few minor things that strike me as odd...Something about his eyes is a bit weird. Maybe it's the fact that the very highlight is on different sides of the pupil in each eye. But I am not too sure, really. Likewise I think the teeth or the mouth seem to be a little off...but these are just minor things.
One thing though that I would recommend, is to slightly knock back some of the hair detail on the side of the head. It is a bit distracting and keeps pulling my eyes away from his face. It would probably be enough to see the big strands there :nod:
But otherwise, good work! Really hope you didn't mind these little critiques :D
